StateFigures is offered free of charge for personal and commercial use. You may use the calculators, tables and guides as often as you like and quote the figures with a link to the page. The written guides and state pages and the design of the site are copyright of the site's owner; reproducing whole pages or presenting the site's content as your own is not permitted.

Every figure on this site is an estimate computed from published rates under stated assumptions. It is provided for information and is not tax, legal or financial advice. Your actual tax depends on facts the site does not have (your W-4, your local taxes, your deductions and credits, your employer's payroll practices) and on rules the site does not model, which the methodology page lists. Verify any figure with the cited source or a qualified professional before relying on it for a decision.

The figures are compiled with care, cited to their sources, dated, and applied by tested code, and the site intends them to be correct. Even so, the site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, and rates change during a year. The disclaimer has more on this.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site's owner is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site or reliance on its content, whether direct, indirect or consequential. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
